Riccardo Russo — Founder & CEO, Russo Lifts
Riccardo Russo is the visionary founder and CEO of Russo Lifts, an ultramodern elevator and escalator company built on a foundation of engineering excellence, innovation, and forward thinking designs.
Riccardo earned two degrees from the University of Cambridge, beginning with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and later pursuing graduate degrees in Electrical and Structural Engineering. His multidisciplinary engineering background provided the foundation for his vision of creating a company capable of redefining the elevator and escalator industry.
Thirty eight years ago, while still at university in London, Riccardo transformed the vision presented in his graduating thesis into the beginnings of what would become Russo Lifts. What started as an ambitious academic concept evolved into a successful company dedicated to developing sophisticated, reliable, and technologically advanced vertical transportation solutions.
Today, Riccardo continues to guide Russo Lifts with the same spirit of innovation that inspired its creation. His unique combination of mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering expertise has shaped the company’s approach to designing and delivering modern elevator and escalator systems.
